Some days move faster than we do. Between messages, meetings and the endless to-do list, the mind rarely gets a moment to catch up. The good news: you don't need an hour of silence to feel calmer - five minutes is enough to change how the rest of your day feels.
Box breathing, step by step
Aisha's favourite reset is box breathing - four equal counts that gently slow the nervous system.
- Breathe in through your nose for a count of four.
- Hold for four.
- Breathe out through your mouth for four.
- Hold for four. Repeat for five rounds.
That's it. No app switching, no special posture - just you and your breath. Do it at your desk, on the bus, or before an important call.
Make it a habit
The trick isn't doing it perfectly once; it's doing it often. Tie the reset to something you already do - your first coffee, the moment you sit in the car - and it quickly becomes automatic. Inside Vitality For You, Aisha guides the full practice out loud, so you can simply follow along.
